Some Problems and Solutions about the Lab Pelletizing Extrusion Line

Why the filaments extruded by Lab extrusion machine is not the same diameter? why the machine sudenly stopt? Some problems might be happen when we using the lab pelletizing extrusion line. 

Here we summarized some problems and solutions.

1.If the filament in different diameter(one is thick another is thin).Probably reason should be raw materials in poor plasticizing and die lip opening not in uniform,we should adjust the technological parameter and the die lip properly.
2.The machine suddenly stops work, reason might be signal disappeared;No power output;Overcurrent;Melt temperature is too high or too low or Blower stop,we should check and solve all this problems.
3.Temperation in large daviation, it may because incorrect set of temperature parameter, we should opetimize PID parameter
4.Products outputs instability,it may because "bridge phenomenon" occurs in the hopper or the feeding section is unsteady,we can mix the materials in the hopper with a plastic rod,lower the temperature of the feeding section or change a vibratory hopper.
5.The torque is too high,it may because melt viscosity is too high, barrel temperature is too low, solution: reduce screw speed, increase barrel temperature;
6.The melt pressure is too high, it may because melt viscosity is too high, barrel temperature is too low, solution: reduce screw speed, increase barrel temperature;
7.Melt is charred,it may because temperature and screw speed are too high, we should reduce both temperature and screw speed.
8.Filament broken,it may because melt temperature too high, traction speed too fast,we should reduce barrel/die head temperature or lower traction speed.
