1.The basic routine maintenance is to clean the machine and lubricate the moving parts of the extruder. For example, the gears in a gearbox can have iron filings or other impurities. Check gear and bearings for wear and make records. Clean the gear and change the lubricating oil in the gear box.
2.After a period of time, the extruder should be thoroughly inspected to check the tightness of all screws and make a record. For easy loosening of the screw parts, should be checked in time to prevent failure in the operation
3.Check and adjust motors, control instruments, piping and working parts. If there is a sudden blackout during production, the main transmission and heating will stop. After power is restored, each part of the barrel must be reheated to the specified temperature and maintained for a period of time before the extruder can be started.

4. The inner wall of the cooling pipe connected with the extruder is easy to scale and the outer wall is easy to corrode and rust. Daily maintenance should be carefully checked, excessive scale will block the pipeline, make it won't achieve the cooling effect, serious corrosion will cause leak, daily maintenance must take descaling and anti-corrosion measures.
